John Alexander Dowie was a reformer who fought against the greatest odds, single-handedly challenging the apostasy of the early 20th century. He succeeded in bringing to the Church̻s attention the Gospel̻s message of healing and deliverance for the whole man, body and soul. He succeeded in bringing to the world̻s attention the great truth that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Although his errors in judgment at the end of his life are to be regretted, we beleive that the Church received an enormous, impetus of faith because this man lived.
