Persevering to the end of this novel will unearth a plenitude of blessings. As with many of John Bunyan's books a dialogue is struck up throughout the book between Christian characters and one can be mistaken into believing that one is reading a dramatic script, which can be quite disconcerting. Ignoring the character names at the beginning of each dialogue enhances the flow of the narrative, which is profoundly enriching to one's soul. It was an experience for me to see so much of my sinful life, before finding Jesus, reflected in 'Bad Man', and helped me to understand how my choices in life led me to a sinful existence that thank God was saved through His Grace. I highly recommend this book but ask that you persevere with it to the end. You will be enlightened.
